there's an elephant in our house
A children's book created during a two-week long assignment, following a workshop with illustrator Emelie Östergren. The project explores how storytelling and visual metaphors can be used to approach complex and sensitive subjects in a way that feels accessible to children. By using a simple narrative and a familiar visual metaphor, the project aims to make the invisible visible, giving children a way to recognise, understand and talk about difficult experiences.
